A non-profit association for IAQ professionals and technicians, the American Indoor Air Quality Council promotes awareness, education, and certification in the field of Indoor Air Quality through sharing, learning, and networking. The American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers advances the arts and sciences of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration to serve humanity and promote a sustainable world. The Environmental Health Clinic is a unique multidisciplinary clinic, and the only one of its kind in Ontario. It was established in 1996 by the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care to be a provincial resource in promoting environmental health, and to improve health care for people with environment-linked conditions such as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Fibromyalgia and Multiple Chemical Sensitivities The Fair Air Association of Canada is involved in a number of research projects that provide advice on a range of issues of interest to the hospitality industry. From studying the economic impact of smoking bans to testing effective ventilation solutions in a wide variety of locations, they are committed to providing scientifically sound information to help inform those in the decision-making process. The Healthy Indoors Partnership (HIP) is a not-for-profit organization that catalyzes action on Canadian indoor environmental issues through multi-stakeholder collaboration. Healthy Schools Network, Inc. is a not for profit education and research organization dedicated to securing policies and actions that will create schools that are environmentally responsible to children, personnel, and to their communities. Centered on children's environmental health, Healthy Schools Network activities include information, education, and coalition building. The Indoor Air Quality Association (IAQA) was established in 1995 to promote uniform standards, procedures and protocols in the Indoor Air Quality industry. Committed to education and research, the association serves as a forum for the exchange of ideas within the emerging IAQ industry. ISIAQ is an international, independent, multidisciplinary, scientific, non-profit organization whose purpose is to support the creation of healthy, comfortable and productive indoor environments. The National Center for Environmental Health (NCEH) strives to promote health and quality of life by preventing or controlling those diseases or deaths that result from interactions between people and their environment.
